About this product
What is spinach powder?
Spinach powder is dried organic spinach (Spinacia oleracea), ground fine. Ours is grown in Germany and Italy and milled so that 98% passes a 400 micron sieve. It is one of the mildest of the green powders, which makes it easy to use generously.
How it is made
The leaves are dried and ground into a fine powder. Nothing else is added.
What it tastes like
Mild and typically spinach-like, with a soft green flavour rather than a bitter one. The colour ranges from light to strong green depending on the leaf.
How to use spinach powder
Knead it into pasta or bread dough for green pasta and loaves, stir it into soups, sauces and risottos, blend it into smoothies, or add it to savoury pancake and muffin batters. Use according to taste.
Quality and sourcing
Certified organic under EU Regulation 2018/848 (certifier NL-BIO-01). Suitable for vegans, kosher certified and suitable for halal diets. Not irradiated and GMO-free. Shelf life of 36 months from production. Store at ambient temperature, away from direct sunlight, with humidity below 65%.
