What is cranberry powder?
Cranberry powder made from whole organic cranberries. Using the whole fruit rather than pressed juice means the skin and flesh, and their colour, all end up in the powder. It contains no preservatives, added sugar or colour.
How it is made
The cranberries are freeze-dried, which removes the water at low temperature while the fruit is frozen, then milled to a powder that passes a 1 mm sieve. Around 7.7 kg of fresh fruit goes into each kilogram of powder. No ionising or ultraviolet treatment is used.
What it tastes like
Naturally tart and fresh, typical of cranberries, with no off-notes. The colour is pink-red and, because it is a natural product without preservatives, it can soften a little over the shelf life. Loose and powdery, with the occasional soft clump that breaks up easily.
How to use cranberry powder
Fold into muffin and scone batter, stir into porridge, or whisk into a sauce for roast meats. It makes a tart, colourful addition to smoothies and a good balance to sweeter fruit powders like strawberry or banana.

Certified organic. Produced without genetic modification, ionisation or ultraviolet irradiation. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
