About this product
What is rosehip powder?
Rosehips are the fruit that forms on a rose bush after the flower has gone. Ours come from Lesotho, where the plant grows at altitude across the highlands. The whole fruit is dried and milled, so the powder carries the tang of the flesh and the gentle floral character of the rose.
How it is made
The rosehips are harvested, cleaned, dried and milled to a fine powder. Moisture is held at or below 12%, and the product is produced under a certified allergen-management programme.
What it tastes like
Fruity and tangy, a little like a very mild cranberry, with a soft floral finish. The colour is orange-red.
How to use rosehip powder
Stir into hot water for a simple fruit tea, add to porridge or muesli, blend into smoothies, or fold into cake and biscuit doughs. It pairs well with apple, ginger and honey.
Quality and sourcing
Certified organic. Complies with Regulation (EC) 396/2005 on pesticide residues and Regulation (EU) 2023/915 on contaminants. Shelf life of 24 months from manufacture. Store in a cool, dry place below 25 °C, away from direct sunlight and strong odours.
