What is sunflower seed protein powder?

Sunflower seed protein powder is made from sunflower seed pressed to remove its oil and milled fine. This one is lightly flavoured with natural vanilla, which makes it the easiest of our seed proteins to drink on its own. It is 95% sunflower seed, 3.5% natural vanilla flavour and 1.5% organic vanilla extract.

How it is made

The seeds are pressed and the press cake milled to a fine powder, then blended with natural vanilla flavour and vanilla extract powder.

What it tastes like

Nutty and mild with a gentle vanilla sweetness and a fine, floury texture. The colour is beige to grey.

How to use sunflower seed protein powder

Shake it with milk or a plant milk, blend it into smoothies with banana or berries, stir it into porridge and yoghurt, or use it in pancakes, muffins and energy balls where the vanilla does part of the work.

Quality and sourcing

Certified organic. Vegan, kosher and halal certified. Shelf life of 18 months from production, with at least 8 months remaining at dispatch. Store protected from warmth, humidity and light; after opening, keep well closed and use promptly.
